Dustin Tomblin is currently licensed as a Certified Professional Counselor and as a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor. He is dedicated to helping people to achieve remission and recovery into self-actualization and wholeness. From the space of caring compassion, he applies an integrated multicultural and trauma informed approach to heal the past and co-create a brighter future.

With over 10 years of experience Dustin continues access the depths of human potential and resilience while integrating Person Centered Counseling, Multicultural Counseling, Stage Models of Human Development, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Parts Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness into practice.

Dustin completed his state approved internship while working as a counselor at Community Counseling Center. There he worked with people living with HIV, PTSD, Substance use addictions, and Stress, Impulse and Anger Management – individually in session and as a group facilitator. At UNLV Dustin had the opportunity to work with Professor Dr. Cross, a celebrated thought leader in the field of Multicultural Counseling. He is uniquely qualified to teach this course having achieved competence through extensive supervision, education and experience in the field of counseling as related to multicultural identity development, multicultural communication, ethics, and boundaries.q
